Superstar Salman Khans latest poster from the forthcoming film “Bharat” is reminiscent of his looks in the 1990s.
A day after he shared his grey hair and bearded avatar from “Bharat”, Salman on Tuesday shared a new poster featuring him in a much younger avatar.
“Jawaani humari Jaaneman thi! ‘Bharat’ ki jawaani,” Salman wrote.
The look seems to be from the 1990s era. The “Dabangg” star is dressed as a circus artiste.
A new poster showcasing his five different looks for the film will be unveiled every day.
The film’s other cast members include Katrina Kaif, Tabu, Jackie Shroff, Disha Patani and Sunil Grover.
Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, “Bharat” will release on the occasion of Eid.
Salman Khan’s Bharat is one of the most-anticipated films of 2019. With a few days left for the official trailer to be released, Salman Khan gave a treat to his fans by sharing his first look from his upcoming film Bharat.
The 53-year-old actor shared the poster on social media and wrote, “Jitne safed baal mere sar aur dhaadi mein hain, usse kahin zyada rangeen meri zindagi rahi hain! #Bharat.”
The last time Salman Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali collaborated for a film was the 1999 film Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. A film that brought Bhansali to the foreground. Since then, there has been no looking back for the filmmaker who is known for his larger-than-life films. Now 20 years later, the hit actor-director duo is reuniting for another love story.
The film is expected to go on floors after Salman wraps up his home production Dabangg 3.
According to a report in a magazine, Sanjay is keen to work with his muse Deepika Padukone in the film. Since Salman and Deepika have never worked together in a film, it would make for an interesting on-screen pairing.
But the same report suggests that Salman wants his close friend Katrina Kaif to be in the film. In fact, when Salman was in talks for Bajirao Mastani (2015), he made Katrina audition for the film.
Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra, who walked out of Salman-starrer Bharat owing to personal reasons, recently revealed on Koffee With Karan that she is in talks with Bhansali for his film. But given her current status with Salman after her impromptu exit from Bharat, insiders are of the view that the actress was referring to some other film (a heroine-centric biopic) with Bhansali.
Currently, Salman wrapped up the shooting of Bharat with Katrina. The film which is a remake of a Korean film An Ode To My Father is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. Bharat is set to hit the screens on Eid 2019.
