Balakrishna Launching Film before Results

Will Nandamuri Balakrishna win again as MLA? People are betting high on this and bets are in favour of his loss.

Nandamuri Balakrishna is the sitting MLA from Hindupur Assembly constituency which is traditionally citadel for Telugu Desam party.

The party’s candidates have been winning since 1983. Balakrishna who won from this seat comfortably in 2014 has faced stiff competition from YSRC candidate this time.

But Balakrishna is quite confident that he would scrape through and emerge as winner. So much so that he is launching his next film much before the election results. His new film will be launched on May 17, five days before the election results.

One of the reasons for early launch is that he doesn’t want to face media after the poll results as he fears TDP rout.

After tasting disastrous results with NTR Mahanayakudu and NTR Kathanayakudu early this year, he is now commencing an out and out commercial movie in the direction of K S Ravikumar.

The film will be launched on 17th May and regular shoot will begin in June.

Boyapati Planning film with RX100 Hero

Boyapati who received shock from Nandamuri Balakrishna is now toying with the idea of making a medium range movie with a young hero.

Boyapati Srinu was hoping to start Balakrishna’s film from June or July but the Nandamuri star threw a surprise by announcing a film in the direction of K S Ravikumar from June.

Shocked by Balakrishna’s quirky decision, Boyapati started looking for available ‘stars’ to launch a film immediately.

No big star is ready to allot dates to him after “Vinaya Vidheya Rama” debacle.

Moreover, all the top stars like Mahesh Babu, Prabhas, Ram Charan, NTR Jr and Allu Arjun have enough projects in their kitty. Medium-range stars like Nani, Vijay Deverakonda, Varun Tej, etc too are busy with their prior commitments.

Boyapati Srinu has limited options now. He will have to approach his ‘Jaya Jaya Janaki Nayaka’ star Bellamkonda Srinu, Ravi Teja or Akhil Akkineni. However, Boyapati is now thinking of making a film with ‘RX100’ fame Kartikeya.

Boyapati’s assistant Arjun Jandhyala is currently directing Kartikeya for a film “Guna 369” and it is produced by Boyapati’s close friends.

It is also rumored that Boyapati is overseeing the direction of this movie. After watching Kartikeya’s work on the sets, he is planning to make a small film with him till he gets the dates of Nandamuri Balakrishna or other big star.

Will Boyapati really go with this plan? If this doesn’t work, his career will go downwards. If it clicks, he will have multiple options. A big risk indeed!

Balakrishna, A Liability For TDP!

Nandamuri Balakrishna, son of Telugu Desam Party founder and legendary actor N T Rama Rao, has turned out to be a big headache for the party, which is presently headed by his brother-in-law and chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu.

Balakrishna’s arrogant attitude towards people and media, his loose tongue and his incoherent speeches have made him a big liability for Naidu, who is struggling to retain power for a second successive term due to stiff competition from YSR Congress party headed by Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.

On Thursday, when media persons covering Naidu’s public meeting at Vijayawada which was attended by Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, came with helmets on their head, Naidu was terribly embarrassed.

The reason was obvious: the previous day, Balakrishna abused and slapped a reporter of Mojo TV during his campaign at Hindupur in Anantapur district.

Several TDP leaders at Naidu’s rally are learnt to have commented before the media that despite being NTR’s son, Balakrishna was no asset for the party but instead had become a liability.

“The party has to pay heavy penalty for the goofs-up made by Balakrishna. But there is nothing that we can do, as Balakrishna doesn’t listen to anybody; even to Naidu,” a TDP leader said.

It is a different matter that Balakrishna later apologised to media persons for his “behavior” but sought to defend his action.

He said he thought some miscreants were trying to push children in their eagerness to shoot his rally and hence had become angry. There are no takers for his statement, though.
