Jagan Reddy takes oath as Andhra Pradesh CM

The stage is set for the swearing-in ceremony of Chief Minister-designate Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy at the Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium in Vijayawada on Thursday.

The swearing in will be held at 12.23 p.m. While a large number of people are being expected to come from every corner of the State to witness the event, arrangements could be made to accommodate just about 40,000 people in and around the stadium on Thursday.

Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhara Rao and DMK president M.K. Stalin will attend the function.

DMK chief M K Stalin and Pondicherry minister Malladi Krishna Rao also attend the ceremony.

Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and Odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik already reached the venue.

Stadium packed with nearly 20,000 people.

His mother Vijayalakshmi, wife Bharati, sister Sharmila and daughters Harsha Reddy and Varsha Reddy also follow Jagan to the swearing-in venue.
