Chitralahari – Nani’s Loss Or Gain?

Director Kishore Tirumala wrote Chitralahari keeping Nani in mind. Mythri Movie Makers was in search of a script for a film with Nani and Nenu Sailaja director came up with Chitralahari script.

Nani asked for some changes in the script and later rejected the script as it didn’t turn out as expected.

Then Kishore Tirumala met Sai Dharam Tej and got his approval in no time. Chitralahari that was released on last Friday has been performing decently at the box office.

The film was deliberately sold for less prices given Tej’s recent track record. Thanks to the low prices, Chitralahari is all set to become a safe venture for its investors.

Did Nani miss out on a hit film? Nani’s current market is above Rs. 30 crore mark, which would have been a difficult target for a mediocre script like Chitralahari.

Making it on a limited budget and selling it for low rates turned out to be a boon for its makers. So this is not Nani’s loss but Sai Tej’s gain!

Sai Dharam Tej has dropped Dharam from his name for the sake of luck. His upcoming film Chitralahari is all set to hit the marquee on April 12.

Sai Tej and Mythri Movie Makers are going for a low key release for Chitralahari given the actor’s recent track record.

Tej is hoping to recover from six straight disasters and get back on track with Chitralahari. Hence, the film is not being released in as many theaters as available.

The makers have planned a limited release and will increase the screens if the film generates positive word of mouth.

Chitralahari will have the advantage of releasing the next day after General Elections in Telugu states. It is right time for some entertainment for everyone who are occupied with politics until then.

Chitralahari has been making buzz with its entertaining promos and hit songs all over. But the film was sold for reasonable rates to make sure that it would become a successful film for Tej and Mythri Movies as well.

After receiving flak for his mediocre work in his recent albums, DSP is back to his elements in Chitralahari.

Here is a brand DSP melody that will instantly strike a chord with its listeners. The song that goes Prema Vennela Raave Urmila has some impressive lyrics penned by Shrimani.

The song is instantly likeable and will surely played in repeat mode by the melody lovers.

All three songs from Chitralahari are good and has set the expectations high on the film. Sai Dharam Tej cannot ask for a better platform when the chips are down.

Chitralahari is gearing up for release on April 12 and the film’s pre release event will be conducted on April 6.

Mythri Movie Makers bankrolled this romantic drama directed by Kishore Tirumala of Nenu Sailaja fame.

Kalyani Priyadarshan and Nivetha Pethuraj are the female leads with Sunil and Posani Krishna Murali playing key roles.

NTR Comes in Support Of The Mega Hero

If the buzz from film circles is to be believed, NTR Jr. is likely to grace the pre release event of Chitralahari as the Chief Guest.

NTR has good association with Mythri Movie Makers that made Janatha Garage with him. Hence, Tarak could be the surprise package at the mega event.

One would have expected either Chiranjeevi or Ram Charan to grace the event given how important Chitralahari is for Sai Dharam Tej.

However, mega heroes are deliberately staying away from media to avoid media glare in the wake of Janasena’s participation in AP elections. Therefore, the makers of Chitralahari are seeking Tarak’s help to get the desired buzz.

Chitralahari directed by Kishore Tirumala is surely gaining buzz by the day with impressive teaser promos and DSP’s foot tapping songs.

With so many films to compete with in April, the film needs to gain momentum with every promotional event.

The team is also planning some innovative promotional videos to grab every bit of public attention.
